From a single roaster to a neighbourhood roastery

Bean & Bloom started in 2014 with one second-hand drum roaster in a converted bakery. We wanted coffee that tasted like the place it came from, and we wanted to know the farmers who grew it.
Today we work directly with a handful of producers across Ethiopia, Colombia and Guatemala, visiting origin every year. Learn more about the people behind the roast or how we roast.
What we believe
Great coffee is a chain of small, careful decisions, from cherry selection to your final pour. We try not to break that chain. Most of our beans are sourced through relationships that span several harvests, which is better for quality and for the growers.
